Most of my day is spent visiting soldiers on the flight line and in the tents. I'm there to help when an emergency message comes in about a problem at home, and I encourage and talk to small groups as I go through the week. One soldier tells me his plans to open an aquatic farm in northern Texas, with another we talk about his teenage son and the challenges of parenting from a distance. The squadron is large enough that even after 10 months together I still see new faces now and then
